Ingredients
Kufharan is made using these Jadibootiyan known to calm a sore throat.
Somlata
It stimulates the Central Nervous system and is a bronchodilator. It relaxes smooth muscles of bronchi and has prolonged bronchodilating action. It averts the nocturnal paroxysmal attacks. It is also used in hay fever, rhinitis, acute and chronic bronchitis whooping cough.
Baansa
Expectorant and bronchodilator calm down the cough and very useful in chronic bronchitis, antiseptic. Bromhexine is a derivative vaccine, the action principle of Adhatoda Vasica which has antihistaminic action
Banafsha
Relieves cough, cold, asthma, hoarseness of voice and hiccups expectorant, antihistaminic, cough. reduces burning sensation.
Tulsi
The plant has medicinal properties. The leaves are nervine tonic removal of the catarrhal matter and phlegm from bronchial tubes reduces sore throat, expectorant. promotes the
Mulethi
Antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and exerts expectorative action. It clears the entire bronchial tree checks bronchial spasms. It soothes sore throats and inflammation.
Adrak
Stimulating, a carminative, rubefacient, counter-irritant for relief of muscular pain due to breathlessness expectorant, anti-inflammatory in bronchitis, asthma, whooping cough and tuberculosis of lungs.

Our pharmacy was established in 1889 in Mian Wali (Lahore) by late Shri Hakim Dhari Shah, it was managed by Shri Hakim Ram Dass Ji. After partition, the pharmacy was re-established in Ambala Cantt by Shri Hakim Ram Dass Ji in 1948.
